Rob Elgas is an American broadcast journalist working as a news anchor for ABC 7’s Eyewitness News based in Chicago. He now hosts the station’s morning and evening newscasts after replacing ABC’s former anchor Alan Krashensky. Rob first joined the station back in July 2015 after completing a five-year tenure working for WICD News as a photographer. So far, he has won several Emmy awards for his feature reports, News Coverage, and the Winter Olympic investigative coverage.
